Job summary

Vector Logistics Limited in Cape Town seeks a Commercial Manager to drive pricing, contracts, and profitability while shaping the national commercial strategy. You will partner with finance, customer teams, and leadership to deliver sustained profitability and strategic insights.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, billing oversight, and reporting, while developing staff and improving processes. A BCom degree and 3–5 years in a similar role are preferred.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) is required.
• BCom degree and/or similar commercial experience.
• CA or CIMA qualification is preferred.
• 3–5 years’ experience in commercial, front-end and people management.
• SAP experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement the national customer/commercial strategy.
• Lead pricing negotiations and contract management activities.
• Prepare budgeting and sales forecasting with revenue analysis.
• Provide profitability analysis and actionable business insights.
• Oversee invoicing, revenue recognition and billing processes.
• Lead and coach staff to achieve targets and develop talent.
• Develop reporting to unlock margin opportunities and inform decisions.
