Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Commercial Refrigeration Technician to service and install walk-in coolers, freezers, and display cases for retail and hospitality clients in Cape Town.

You will install, repair, and maintain systems, perform preventative maintenance, diagnose faults, ensure safety compliance, and provide clear updates to clients, dispatch, and management across the Western Cape.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Commercial Refrigeration Technician or similar role.
• Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Relevant certifications in refrigeration and air conditioning (e.g., City & Guilds, NQF Level).
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and respond to emergency service calls.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and standard tools for refrigeration work.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information clearly.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Key Responsibilities
