King Price Insurance is seeking a Business Enablement Manager for Commercial Pricing & Operational Analytics in Pretoria. The role combines pricing science with operational analytics to drive cost efficiency, service quality and conduct outcomes across Operations.

You will own pricing models for Commercial lines and deliver MI, forecasting and insights to Operations, QA, Customer Success and Claims. Leadership responsibilities include developing analysts and ensuring data quality across systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of short-term insurance experience in South Africa.
• BSc / BCom (Hons) in Actuarial Science or related fields; Masters preferred.
• At least 5 years of hands-on technical commercial pricing experience.
• 2 years managing analysts or actuarial students.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical rating models for Commercial lines: build, calibrate, document and maintain them.
• Run rate adequacy reviews by product and segment; implement rate changes with impact analysis.
• Monitor price delivery vs. technical price and report drift.
• Provide pricing input to new products and broker/partner deals with scenario analysis.
• Support Actuarial Function with pricing inputs for reserving and planning.
• Own core operational MI for Operations, QA, Customer Success and Claims: service levels, productivity and leakage.
• Forecast volumes and capacity to support staffing decisions.
• Run root-cause analyses and quantify the value of fixes.
• Contribute analysis to board packs and regulatory reporting.
• Set data definitions and a single source of truth for metrics.
• Partner with IT on data access across systems.
• Lead and develop Pricing/Analytics Analysts; support exams.
• Peer-review models and manage model risk.
• Set priorities with stakeholders.
