Job summary

Dante Personnel is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Key Account Manager to own major retail and trade accounts and drive sustainable growth across the business, particularly within Gauteng’s retail landscape. You will engage confidently with senior buyers and decision-makers, understand how major retailers operate, and leverage a proven track record with national retail groups.

A relevant degree and strong MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint) are essential.

About the Role

• Looking for an experienced and commercially driven Key Account Manager to take ownership of Major Retail And Trade Accounts and drive sustainable growth across the business, someone who understands the retail environment, knows how major retailers operate, and can engage confidently with senior buyers and decision-makers.
• The successful candidate will have a proven track record working with major retail groups such as Builders, Leroy Merlin, Chamberlain, Cashbuild or similar national retail and trade accounts.

Minimum Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business Management or a related field will be advantageous.
• Proven Key Account Management experience within the South African retail environment.
• Demonstrated experience managing major national retail accounts.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
