Job summary

Siemens is seeking a highly motivated intern for the Communications and Commercial Department in South Africa. You will support sales order processing, manage stock and deliveries, and expedite POs using the SPIRIDON system.

Qualifications

• Clear and effective verbal and written communication is crucial.

Responsibilities

• Capture Sales orders and Purchase orders into SPIRIDON within 24 hours and send confirmations to customers.
• Manage ex-stock and direct deliveries per customer and BU requirements; expediting POs on OMS.
• Release customer backlog at least twice weekly and manage open sales orders weekly.
• Create adhoc quotations within 24 hours.
• Follow up on quotations with customers in a timely manner.
• Promote Industry Mall awareness and automated orders.
