Qualifications

• Proven track record as an Insurance Broker, preferably in the commercial lines sector.
• Current and valid broker's license or relevant insurance qualifications.
• Strong understanding of various commercial insurance products (e.g., liability, property, workers' compensation).
• Excellent sales, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Proficiency in CRM software and general office productivity tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a robust portfolio of commercial insurance clients through prospecting and networking.
• Conduct thorough needs assessments for businesses to identify potential risks and recommend appropriate insurance coverage.
• Present and explain complex insurance policies and options clearly to business owners and managers.
• Negotiate terms and premiums with insurance carriers to secure the best possible coverage for clients.
