Dr Oetker South Africa invites a skilled Financial Controller to join our Johannesburg site, driving profitability through solid financial insights and net revenue management.

You will partner with Sales, Marketing and other departments to analyze pricing, promotions, customer profitability and product mix, ensuring financial implications are embedded in commercial decisions. The role emphasizes cost control and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce (BCom), Finance required.
• CIMA Advanced Diploma or CA(SA) advantageous.
• 3–5 years' relevant experience in commercial, FMCG, manufacturing, or finance-business partnering roles.
• Experience with Sage and MS Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support forecasting with income statement projections and gap analysis.
• Produce monthly management accounts with variance analysis and commentary.
• Prepare annual budgets with stakeholder alignment.
• Provide financial analysis on product profitability and feasibility studies.
• Assess product costings and trade spend aligned to revenue and margin goals.
• Drive cost efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and best practices.
• Lead ad hoc projects for financial initiatives.
