Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Commercial Construction Site Manager to lead day-to-day site operations in Rustenburg, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and budget control on commercial projects in the North West.

You will coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, subcontractors and clients to resolve site issues, enforce quality and codes, maintain records, and drive timely, within-scope project delivery with a strong site team.

Qualifications

• A National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction, with at least 4 years in a site management or supervisory role, preferably on commercial projects.
• Proven experience in managing subcontractors, suppliers, and labor on construction sites.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and relevant building codes and safety regulations in South Africa.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction documents.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage a diverse site team.
• Experience working in Rustenburg or the North West province is a plus.
