Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality of work, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage site logistics, including material delivery, equipment utilization, and site security.
• Liaise with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to provide progress updates and address concerns.
• Oversee the procurement and management of site resources, including materials and equipment.
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, safety logs, and inspection records.
• Foster a positive and productive working relationship with all site personnel and stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any on-site challenges that arise during the construction process.

Requirements

• A relevant qualification in Construction Management or a related field, or extensive equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in site management within the commercial construction sector.
• Proven track record of successfully managing commercial construction projects from start to finish.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety standards relevant to commercial projects.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with project management software and standard office applications.
• Ability to effectively manage subcontractors and suppliers.
• A strong commitment to safety, quality, and project timelines.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Gauteng area as needed.
