• Proven experience as an Insurance Claims Handler for short-term commercial claims.
• Solid understanding of commercial insurance products and claims management principles.
• Excellent administrative, organizational, and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in claims management software and MS Office.
• Ability to interpret policy wordings and apply them to claims scenarios.

Responsabilidades

• Receive, register, and manage a portfolio of short-term commercial insurance claims from initiation to closure.
• Assess claims for coverage, liability, and validity based on policy terms and conditions.
• Appoint and manage external loss adjusters and service providers as required.
• Communicate effectively with policyholders, brokers, and third parties throughout the claims process.
• Gather and review necessary documentation, including claim forms, reports, and supporting evidence.
• Process claims payments accurately and in a timely manner.
• Identify potential fraudulent claims and escalate them to the appropriate department for investigation.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and company procedures.
