Salix Recruitment seeks a commercially minded CFO in Germiston to drive financial strategy, governance and profitability across the group’s industrial, rental and distribution operations.

You will partner with the MD and EXCO, shaping commercial strategy while overseeing procurement, working capital and risk management. A CA(SA) with leadership experience is essential for this high-impact role.

Qualificações

• Qualified CA(SA) with SAICA articles completed.
• CA(SA) with minimum 7 years post-articles experience in senior finance leadership.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and SA statutory requirements.
• Experience in procurement, stock control and multi-channel trading environments advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the overall financial strategy and wellbeing of the organisation.
• Drive budgeting, rolling forecasts, scenario planning and financial modelling.
• Provide strategic insight into revenue, gross margin, profitability and cash generation.
• Partner with EXCO and business leaders to support commercial decision-making.
• Oversee working capital, cash flow, stock control and financial performance.
• Custodian of procurement strategy, supplier governance and negotiations.
• Drive cost optimisation, margin protection and supplier performance.
• Oversee governance, internal controls, risk management and audit readiness.
• Provide decision-ready financial dashboards and performance insights.
• Challenge ROI or viability of business initiatives.
• Lead, develop and build a high-performing finance function.
• Represent Finance at EXCO, Board and audit forums.
