Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) and professional accounting qualifications.
• CA(SA) with SAICA articles completed.
• Experience in financial reporting, tax compliance and FMCG/operational environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation of accurate financial information and annual financial statements in line with IFRS.
• Manage monthly trial balances and review balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare and review balance sheet forecasts and budgets.
• Oversee quarterly and annual regulatory reporting.
• Oversee preparation and review of provisional tax calculations.
• Review year-end tax calculations and tax returns.
• Ensure compliance across VAT, PAYE, Income Tax and other tax obligations.
• Oversee debtors, creditors and cashbook functions.
• Ensure effective credit management and timely collection of receivables.
• Manage cash flow to ensure liquidity for operations.
• Oversee payroll and payments to employees and payroll-related third parties.
