Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with coastal/maritime specialization.
• Professional registration with ECSA (Pr. Eng.) is required.
• Minimum of 6 years of coastal and marine infrastructure design experience.
• Proficiency in coastal modeling software (MIKE 21, Delft3D) and CAD.

Responsibilities

• Design and analysis of coastal structures (breakwaters, seawalls, jetties, pipelines).
• Perform hydraulic and hydrodynamic modeling for waves, tides, and currents.
• Conduct site investigations and coastal condition assessments.
• Develop plans, specs and tender documents for coastal projects.
• Ensure designs comply with maritime codes, environmental regulations and safety standards.
• Collaborate with environmental scientists and engineers.
• Provide technical support during construction of marine/coastal projects.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and authorities.
• Stay updated on coastal engineering technologies and methods.
• Manage resources and timelines for coastal development initiatives.
