Placements24 seeks a motivated Civil Engineer specializing in Coastal Infrastructure to join the Mossel Bay team. The role centers on planning, design and oversight of port development, coastal protection, and marine structures, delivering innovative and sustainable solutions in a dynamic coastal environment.

You will design marine structures, conduct coastal studies, develop construction drawings, supervise fieldwork and ensure compliance with maritime and environmental standards.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with coastal or marine specialization.
• Minimum 6 years of coastal infrastructure design and project management experience.
• Proficiency in MIKE suite, Delft3D, and CAD software.
• Strong understanding of hydrodynamics, wave theory, and marine geotechnics.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly.
• Experience with environmental impact assessments for coastal developments is advantageous.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated Civil Engineer specializing in Coastal Infrastructure to join their team in Mossel Bay . This role is critical for the planning, design, and oversight of projects related to port development, coastal protection, and marine structures. You will engage in technically challenging work that directly impacts the region's maritime activities and coastal resilience.
