Job summary

JVR Software in Ekurhuleni is seeking a skilled engineer to monitor and control beverage/industrial process plants. The role focuses on operating utilities, collecting gas samples, and ensuring product quality and safety in a fast-paced setting.

The successful candidate will have 2–3 years of relevant experience, with knowledge of SCADA/PLC systems and pressure vessels, and familiarity with ISO/HACCP in beverage environments.

Qualifications

• Matric or equivalent with technical diploma.
• 2–3 years operating utilities or industrial process plants.
• Familiarity with pressure vessels, compressors, SCADA/PLC control systems.
• Food/beverage or FMCG industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor plant parameters (pressure, temperature, flow rates, gas purity) using control systems/ HMIs.
• Collect gas samples, conduct purity and quality tests, and ensure compliance with applicable standards.
• Record daily production logs and monitor safety thresholds under OHS and related regulations.
• Assist maintenance during planned shutdowns or breakdowns.
