Placements24 is seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator for their Vereeniging, Gauteng facility. The role is on-site, focusing on operating and maintaining CNC Mills and Lathes to produce high-precision parts.

You will read blueprints, set up machine parameters, and ensure quality through inspections and routine maintenance. Ideal candidates have hands-on experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as CNC Machine Operator or similar.
• Proficiency in reading technical blueprints and understanding machining processes.
• Experience with setting up and operating CNC Mills and Lathes.
• Basic understanding of G-code is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery.
• Familiarity with safety regulations in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor CNC machines to produce parts with precision.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and quality checks.
• Set up and adjust machine parameters for different jobs.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications.
• Identify and report machine malfunctions or quality issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Record production data and assist with inventory management.
• Collaborate with team and support other operators as needed.
