Job summary

Sought Out in Cape Town is seeking a motivated Machinist with CNC and conventional milling experience to join a dynamic precision engineering team. You will operate lathes, milling machines, and CNC machinery to produce steel components with tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• Experience in turning / machining.
• Ability to operate CNC and conventional machinery.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good mathematical and measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate lathes, milling machines, CNC machinery, and other workshop equipment.
• Work on CNC lathes and mills (but not limited to these machines).
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Perform measurements and calculations accurately.
• Assist in precision engineering and steel component manufacturing.
• Assist with general workshop and manufacturing tasks.
• Produce quality work efficiently and to precise tolerances.
