Qualifications

• Master's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent extensive experience.
• 8+ years in information security, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience securing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST CSF, SOC 2; risk management and compliance.
• Experience developing incident response and business continuity plans.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the organization's information security strategy, policies, and procedures.
• Lead and mentor the information security team, providing guidance and fostering professional growth.
• Oversee the security of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Manage security risk assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response activities.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy laws (e.g., POPIA).
• Develop and deliver security awareness training programs.
• Collaborate with IT, engineering, and business units to integrate security into operations.
• Stay current with emerging threats and best practices.
