Placements24 is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to strengthen security controls across AWS, Azure, and GCP in a hybrid East London role.

You will design, implement, and monitor cloud security, IAM, and incident response while enabling secure cloud workloads and promoting security best practices. The role emphasizes automation, security testing, and collaboration with development teams; candidates should have 3-5 years' experience and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3-5 years of cloud security engineering experience.
• Hands-on with AWS, Azure, and GCP security services.
• Strong cloud security knowledge: IAM and network security.
• Scripting for automation (Python, Terraform) a plus.
• Relevant cloud security certifications preferred (AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Azure Security Engineer).

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage security solutions for cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Develop and enforce security policies and best practices for cloud deployments.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure for security threats and incidents.
• Configure and manage IAM for cloud resources.
• Conduct security assessments and penetration testing of cloud applications and infrastructure.
• Automate security tasks and processes in the cloud environment.
