Placements24 seeks a skilled Cloud Network Engineer for a fully remote position, designing, implementing, and managing scalable network infrastructures in major cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years in network engineering with 3+ years in cloud networking.
• Proven design and management of networks in AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Strong understanding of VPC/VNet, subnets, routing, DNS, and load balancing.
• Proficient with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM).
• Experience with cloud security principles and tools.

Responsibilities

About the Role

This position is crucial for designing, implementing, and managing complex network infrastructures within leading cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain secure and scalable network infrastructure within major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Implement and manage virtual private clouds (VPCs), subnets, routing tables, and network security groups.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in network engineering, with at least 3 years focused on cloud networking.
• Proven experience designing and managing complex networks in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts, including VPC/VNet, subnets, routing, DNS, and load balancing.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates).
• Experience with network security principles and tools in a cloud context.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and their networking implications is a plus.
• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Advanced Networking, Azure Network Engineer Associate) are highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
