Placements24 is seeking a Senior Cloud Network Architect to design and implement scalable, secure cloud networking across AWS, Azure, and GCP. This fully remote role focuses on shaping the cloud networking strategy for a leading organization.

You will architect cloud-native networking solutions, ensure performance and cost-efficiency, and drive security across multi-cloud platforms while collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in cloud networking and a strong specialization in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency with cloud networking services, constructs, and best practices; IaC experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage network architectures in public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Develop strategies for secure connectivity between on-premises data centers and cloud environments (hybrid cloud).
• Architect load balancing, auto-scaling, CDNs, and DNS management in the cloud.
• Define and implement network security policies, firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS in cloud platforms.
• Optimize performance, troubleshoot connectivity, and ensure high availability for cloud apps.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to deliver secure cloud networking solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage robust network architectures in public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Architect solutions for load balancing, auto-scaling, content delivery networks (CDNs), and DNS management in the cloud.
• Define and implement network security policies, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems within cloud platforms.
• Optimize network performance, troubleshoot complex connectivity issues, and ensure high availability of cloud-based applications.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to deliver seamless and secure cloud network solutions.
