Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a diligent Clinical Research Associate to oversee clinical trial conduct in the Pretoria region. You will monitor sites, ensure protocol adherence, and uphold GCP and regulatory standards while maintaining data integrity throughout studies.

The ideal candidate has a life sciences degree and at least three years of CRA experience, with strong communication skills and willingness to travel within the Pretoria area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a life science, nursing, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CRA in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Thorough understanding of ICH-GCP guidelines and regulatory requirements for clinical trials.
• Proven experience in site monitoring, data review, and query resolution.
• Ability to travel to clinical sites within the Pretoria area as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits according to study protocol and GCP requirements.
• Verify the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of clinical data reported by study sites.
• Ensure regulatory compliance at clinical sites, including informed consent process and source data verification.
• Manage communication between study sites, the sponsor, and other stakeholders involved in the clinical trial.
• Identify, track, and resolve site-level issues and deviations promptly.
• Maintain accurate and organized study documentation and site files.
