Placements24 is seeking a highly competent Clinical Research Associate (CRA) for operations based in Soweto, Gauteng. The role focuses on overseeing clinical trials, ensuring protocol adherence and regulatory compliance, and liaising with sites, ethics committees, and regulators.

The ideal candidate has a life sciences degree, at least 3 years of CRA experience in pharmaceutical trials, and strong organizational, communication, and data monitoring skills to support successful study execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a life science, nursing, pharmacy, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of CRA experience in pharmaceutical clinical trials.
• In-depth knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with site monitoring, data review, and regulatory inspections.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site selection, initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits per GCP and study protocols.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of clinical trial data at investigative sites.
• Verify compliance of study sites with protocols, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as the primary liaison between sponsor and investigative sites.
• Manage study supplies and ensure proper documentation.
• Identify and report adverse events and protocol deviations promptly.
