Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a motivated Clinical Research Associate (CRA) on a contract basis to support pharmaceutical studies in the Centurion area and surroundings. You will monitor trial sites, ensure adherence to protocols, and safeguard patient safety and data integrity.

You will travel as required, conduct SDV, and maintain TMF, collaborating with investigators and staff to drive compliant, high-quality trials across therapeutic areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of CRA experience in pharma/biotech.
• Strong knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven ability to conduct site monitoring visits effectively.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively to clinical trial sites.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site initiation, interim monitoring, and close-out visits according to established monitoring procedures.
• Verify the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of clinical trial data through source data verification (SDV).
• Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, regulatory requirements, and study protocols.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with investigators, study coordinators, and site staff.
• Identify and report any protocol deviations, adverse events, or safety concerns to the study team.
• Manage trial master files (TMF) and ensure all site documents are properly maintained.

Requirements
