Job summary

Old Mutual South Africa is seeking a customer service representative to deliver a positive customer experience while resolving queries and processing orders. You will use a multilevel sales script to clarify needs and guide customers to the most suitable channels for resolution.

In this role you will enter accurate CRM data after each interaction, respond to issues including returns and complaints, and strive to build lasting customer relationships through proactive outreach and upselling

Qualifications

• Minimum education: NQF Level 4 or equivalent.
• Experience in customer service and sales is advantageous.
• Proven ability to manage customer data accurately in CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced product/service information.
• Record and process customer orders, selecting the most appropriate approach based on predefined options.
• Respond to basic and advanced customer issues, such as returns, exchanges, and complaints; elevate appropriately.
• Make calls (by telephone or in person) to allocated potential customers to develop relationships.
• Enter relevant information into the CRM system after each contact with a customer to ensure data quality.
• Interview the customer to clarify requirements using a multilevel sales script.
• Provide exceptional service to encourage continued use of products/services.
• Develop knowledge of organizational policies and regulatory codes relevant to own work.
