Job summary

Old Mutual South Africa is seeking a customer service and sales professional to provide expert product information and resolve inquiries. You will manage orders, answer issues, and escalate when required while building customer relationships and using CRM data to support retention and business growth.

You will engage with customers, follow scripts to clarify needs, and consistently deliver service standards in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• NQF Level 4 or equivalent educational qualification is required.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential.
• Experience in customer service and sales environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced product/service information and resolve customer issues.
• Record orders and determine the best approach from predefined options.
• Handle returns, exchanges and complaints; escalate when needed.
• Make calls to potential customers to develop relationships.
• Log customer interactions in the CRM to keep quality data for retention and development.
• Interview customers to clarify requirements using a sales script.
• Deliver exceptional service to encourage ongoing product/service use.
• Learn policies, procedures and regulatory codes relevant to the role.
