Key Responsibilities
Client Management & Business Development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Identify opportunities for repeat business and additional project work.
- Convert inbound enquiries and leads into ongoing client accounts.
- Conduct outbound engagement, networking and follow-ups to generate new business.
- Track client revenue and account performance.
Quoting & Estimating
- Coordinate engineers and subcontractors for site inspections and job scoping.
- Prepare clear, detailed and itemised quotations.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors regarding pricing and availability.
- Follow up outstanding quotations and drive quote conversion.
- Ensure quotations are commercially viable and competitively priced.
Project Coordination & Delivery
- Schedule projects and jobs according to trade requirements, location and availability.
- Issue accurate and detailed work instructions to engineers and subcontractors.
- Coordinate materials, site access and client requirements.
- Monitor work in progress and ensure deadlines and quality standards are achieved.
- Manage multiple active projects simultaneously.
Client Reporting & Quality Control
- Act as the main point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide clients with regular project updates.
- Review completion photographs, feedback and job documentation.
- Resolve problems proactively and escape where required.
- Ensure work is completed to the required standard.
Invoicing & Commercial Management
- Ensure completed jobs are invoiced promptly.
- Follow up outstanding payments and resolve billing queries.
- Monitor project profitability and payment cycles.
- Work towards agreed revenue, project, quotation and collection targets.
Minimum Requirements
- Previous experience within construction, refurbishment, building maintenance or property maintenance.
- Experience in a role such as Project Manager, Construction Project Manager, Estimator, Quantity Surveyor, Contracts Coordinator or similar.
- Strong understanding of construction and building-service workflows.
- Experience preparing quotations and managing project costs.
- Commercially minded with the ability to identify and develop additional business.
- Strong client-management and customer-service skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication.
- Able to communicate confidently with UK-based clients, contractors, suppliers and internal teams.
- Strong organisational and multitasking ability.
- Experience managing multiple projects, quotations and schedules simultaneously.
- Comfortable working with CRM, job-management and scheduling systems.
- Good Microsoft 365 skills.
- Able to perform effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Proactive, accountable and comfortable taking ownership of projects from start to finish.
- Reliable high-speed internet and a suitable professional home office.
- Two-screen workstation required.
- Must be available to work UK hours, Monday to Friday.
