Job summary

PlaceTalent is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to lead multi-site commercial, retail, fit-out and hospitality projects from planning through handover. You will direct Site Managers, coordinate subcontractors, monitor schedules, budgets and safety, while upholding QA across sites.

You will maintain comprehensive project records, liaise with clients and consultants, and ensure on-time delivery, cost control, and compliance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in commercial/retail/fit-out/hospitality construction.
• Experience managing projects through full lifecycle.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience managing subcontractors, suppliers and Site Managers.
• Solid understanding of construction site logistics.
• Ability to read/interpret construction drawings.
• Knowledge of OHS standards and construction compliance.
• Proficient in MS Project and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Valid driver’s licence. Own smartphone for company apps.
• Willingness to travel nationally and stay on-site as required.
