Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Client Onboarding Specialist to join our Pretoria operations team. You will guide new clients through the setup, collect documentation, and deliver initial training to ensure customers can use our services from day one.

You will coordinate with sales, technical and support teams to ensure a smooth transition, conduct welcome calls, verify client information, and maintain accurate onboarding records in our CRM.

About the Role

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Client Onboarding Specialist to join their operations team in Pretoria. This role is critical for ensuring a smooth and positive initial experience for all new clients. You will guide clients through the setup process, manage necessary documentation, and provide initial training to ensure they can effectively utilize our services from day one. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new clients, from contract signing to service activation.
• Coordinate with internal teams (sales, technical, support) to ensure a seamless client transition.
• Conduct welcome calls and initial training sessions for new clients on our platform/services.
• Gather and verify necessary client information and documentation.
• Address and resolve any initial challenges or questions clients may have during onboarding.
• Maintain accurate records of onboarding progress and client interactions in the CRM.

Requirements

• Proven experience in client onboarding, project coordination, or a similar client-facing role.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex processes simply.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and project management tools.
• High school diploma required; a degree in Business or a related field is beneficial.
