Job summary

Old Mutual South Africa seeks a dynamic Financial Adviser to provide pro-active, on-demand financial service and advice to customers within an allocated market. You will build strong client relationships, deliver compliant financial solutions, and complete regulatory exams with in-house training.

The role requires Grade 12, FAIS compliance, RE5 an advantage, a valid driver’s license, and at least 3 years in sales with strong MS Office skills. Closing date 29 November 2026.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric) certificate is required
• FAIS compliance is required
• RE5 an advantage
• A valid Driver’s licence and own car
• Clear criminal and credit check
• Minimum 3 years working experience (preferably in sales)
• Proven computer literacy (MS Office suite)
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Responsibilities

• Provide a quality service to customers while identifying opportunities to secure new business or support retention.
• Analyze specific problems and issues to find the best solutions (technical or professional).
• Receive visitors and assist with information requests, referring more complex matters to colleagues.
• Schedule follow-up actions and enter information into the CRM system for effective customer retention and business development.
• Set clear objectives for each sales call or meeting; tailor materials for decision-makers and influencers.
• Develop and implement a relationship management plan for potential customer accounts.
• Understand and adhere to organizational policies and regulatory codes to ensure compliance.
• Monitor and assess sales and market data to identify areas for business development.
• Build a personal network within the business sector and represent the organization at events.
• Conduct research and select information to analyze key themes and trends using data sources and BI tools.
