Job summary

Placements24 in Paarl is seeking a knowledgeable Supply Chain Consultant to join the team. The role focuses on optimizing clients' end-to-end supply chains from procurement to delivery, driving efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and resilience.

You will analyze networks, identify bottlenecks, and design solutions, using data analytics to forecast demand and improve transportation, inventory, and operations in the Western Cape and beyond.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or consulting.
• Proven experience in optimizing supply chain operations and implementing strategic improvements.
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles, logistics, and inventory management techniques.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Proficiency in supply chain software and data analysis tools is essential.

Responsibilities

• Analyze end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency gains, and risk mitigation within the supply chain.
