Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Management Consultant with expertise in Supply Chain Optimization to join our client’s Port Elizabeth practice. You will analyze end-to-end processes, identify opportunities, and implement strategies across procurement, inventory, and logistics to streamline operations and deliver measurable impact.

This client-facing role requires 4+ years in supply chain management or operations consulting, with strong analytics and ERP/WMS/TMS knowledge.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or operations consulting.
Proven expertise in supply chain modeling, analytics, and optimization techniques.
Strong understanding of warehouse management systems, transportation management systems, and ERP solutions.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and proficiency in data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

Analyze end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities within client supply chains.
Develop and implement strategies for improving inventory control, network design, and transportation management.
Utilize data analytics and modeling to forecast demand, optimize stock levels, and enhance logistics performance.
Collaborate with clients to manage change and ensure the successful adoption of new supply chain practices.
