Job summary

redPanda Software seeks a Development Project Manager to lead a software development team, applying Scrum/Agile practices. You will oversee performance, behaviour, and delivery while communicating status to clients.

You will manage capacity planning, sprint ceremonies, and reporting, ensuring timely, within-scope software solutions and strong client relations. A proven delivery track record is required.

Qualifications

• Matric.
• 3+ years experience leading a team in software/IT projects.
• 3+ years' experience within a software development environment.
• IT related qualification.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum.
• Retail experience is advantageous.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Delivery Management: lead and coordinate software development teams to deliver on time and in scope.
• Manage backlog grooming, sprint planning, estimates and burn-down reporting.
• Ensure sprint capacity aligns with 70% efficiency of raw capacity.
• Maintain quality by keeping UAT failures under 5% per deployment.
• Manage client and stakeholders, provide regular progress reports.
