Job summary

FirstRand Bank Limited, in KwaZulu-Natal, invites you to join its POP Branch as a Branch Advisor. You will deliver compliant financial advice, help customers, and guide them to the right channels while upholding FAIS, FICA and TCF principles.

In a high-volume, service-driven environment, you will build client relationships, analyze needs, and offer appropriate product solutions, maintaining accurate records and striving to meet sales and service targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualification: NQF Level 5 Certificate in Banking, Business Administration, Customer Service or FAIS-recognised field.
• 1–3 years of experience in customer-facing environments within financial services.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage long-term client relationships to support retention and growth.
• Provide a positive customer experience and educate customers on banking channels.
• Analyze client needs and offer compliant financial solutions aligned to FAIS.
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
• Aim to achieve individual and branch sales and service targets.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct and accountability for performance and development.
• Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge.
• Manage leads, referrals and client follow-ups within agreed timelines.
