Job summary

Santam is seeking a Motor Claims Service Consultant - Abuntex, based in the FNB Building, Bloemfontein, to process allocated motor claims and prepare them for assessor appointment.

You will be the first point of contact for clients and intermediaries, handling queries and collecting information to ensure complete documentation for assessment, while coordinating with service providers and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Matric and computer literacy typical for the role.
• Ability to verify and interpret policy and appraisal details.
• Strong communication and telephonic skills.
• Experience in claims handling is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Abuntex, BPM, Claims Center and Codeplex helps.

Responsibilities

• Process allocated motor claims and prepare for assessor appointment.
• Serve as first contact for clients, intermediaries and service providers.
• Verify documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Coordinate information collection and follow up on outstanding items.
• Communicate claim progress and updates to stakeholders.

This career opportunity is available at Santam’s Motor Claims Department (South Region: Western Cape, Eastern Cape, Northern Cape and Free State) for a Motor Claims Service Consultant - Abuntex who will be based in FNB Building, Bloemfontein

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

The purpose of this position is to process all the allocated Motor Claims and make them ready for an assessor to be appointed. CSC is the first point of contact for all claims and will be responsible for all queries on motor claim. This will include communication with the client, Intermediary and or Service Provider.

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE?

• Manage workload and instructions from system through any communication and or documents.
• Work closely with your team
• Required to check completeness and correctness of documents
• Responsible for all actions to get claim assessment ready and the appointment of the assessor
• Contact clients or intermediaries telephonically to obtain outstanding information and provide updates on claim progress.
• Required to follow up on claims to receive digital images and or any documentation necessary for Assessment
• Handle complaints, queries, all interaction with clients, Intermediaries, Service Providers, internal stakeholders, Relationship Managers, Underwriters, either by telephone or by email
• Create services on Claims Center system for rental
• Responsible for arranging, manage rental requests, extensions & terminations
• Attend to your Review and daily activities on the Claims Center system

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Matric
• Fully computer literate (MS Office)
• 2 - 4 years’ claims experience
• Any previous claims handling, pre-support and or post support experience is advantageous
• Knowledge of Abuntex, BPM, Claims Center and Codeplex (SPM) will be an advantage
