Placements24 is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to lead diverse infrastructure projects in Mossel Bay, Western Cape. You will plan, design, and manage scope, budgets, and timelines while coordinating with design teams, consultants, and contractors to meet project requirements.

This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, with focus on safety, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder management.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng registration with ECSA desirable.
• Minimum 5 years' civil engineering project management experience.
• Experience managing roads, water reticulation or storm-water.
• Proficient in project management software and CAD tools.
• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage full lifecycle of civil projects from concept to completion.
• Develop detailed project plans with scope, budgets, and timelines.
• Coordinate with design teams, consultants and contractors.
• Conduct site visits, inspections and progress meetings.
• Identify and mitigate project risks to prevent delays or costs.
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates and documen tation.
• Ensure compliance with SA standards, safety and environment regulations.
• Liaise with authorities to obtain permits and approvals.
