About the Role

You will work closely with a team of geologists and other engineers to ensure the stability and safety of foundations, slopes, and earthworks. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise geotechnical site investigations , including drilling, soil sampling, and in-situ testing.
• Analyze soil and rock properties and perform bearing capacity, settlement, and slope stability analyses.
• Prepare comprehensive geotechnical investigation reports, including recommendations for foundation design and ground improvement.
• Develop and implement ground monitoring programs for construction projects.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities regarding geotechnical aspects of projects.
• Ensure all geotechnical work adheres to relevant codes, standards, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Geotechnical Engineering.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in geotechnical investigation and design.
• Proficiency in geotechnical software packages (e.g., PLAXIS, GeoStudio suite).
• Strong understanding of soil mechanics, rock mechanics, and foundation engineering principles.
• Experience in managing field investigations and laboratory testing programs.
• Registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer (Pr.Eng).
