Job summary

Prosperitas Personnel is seeking a Civil Engineer (BEng/BTech) with 4–6 years of relevant experience to design and coordinate civil services, including roads and stormwater, for municipal projects. You will prepare drawings, specs and documentation for tenders and construction, and compile stormwater reports for approval.

You will supervise and assist in Civil engineering construction projects, conduct site inspections, ensure quality control, and liaise with contractors and suppliers to resolve

Qualifications

• BEng or BTech in Civil Engineering is required.
• 4 - 6 years relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D and SSA or similar design software.

• Design and coordinate civil engineering services, including road infrastructure, stormwater and related municipal services.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications and documentation for contractor tender and construction purposes.
• Compile Outline Services Reports and Stormwater Management Reports for submission and approval by municipalities.
• Assist with the planning, supervision and management of civil engineering construction projects.
• Conduct regular site inspections, quality control checks and progress monitoring to ensure construction complies with approved drawings, specifications and standards.
• Liaise with contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, including issuing design instructions and resolving technical queries on site.
• Coordinate civil engineering designs with other professional disciplines to ensure successful project integration.
