Placements24 is seeking a skilled Civil Design Engineer to contribute to water and sanitation infrastructure projects in Tembisa, Gauteng. You will lead detailed design, hydraulic modeling, and development of water supply networks and wastewater systems, collaborating with a team to meet project objectives. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Pr. Eng.

or Pr. Tech. Eng. registration with ECSA, and at least 5 years of design experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on water resources or environmental engineering.
• Professional registration with ECSA (Pr. Eng. or Pr. Tech. Eng.) is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the design of water and sanitation infrastructure.
• Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software (WaterGEMS, EPANET) and CAD software (AutoCAD).
• Strong understanding of water treatment processes, pipe network analysis, and wastewater collection systems.

Responsabilités

• Perform detailed hydraulic modeling and analysis for water supply and sewerage systems.
• Design water distribution networks, pump stations, reservoirs, and wastewater collection systems.
• Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations using relevant design software.
• Conduct feasibility studies and conceptual design for new water and sanitation projects.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant standards, regulations, and environmental requirements.
