Placements24 is seeking an experienced Childcare Centre Supervisor in Mahikeng, North West. The role leads daily operations, oversees curriculum implementation, staff supervision, and parent engagement to ensure high standards of care and education.

You will manage admissions, scheduling, and records, foster a nurturing learning environment, and collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver excellent early childhood education. First Aid/ CPR and a clear background check are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in childcare, with at least 2 years in supervision/management
• Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles
• First Aid and CPR certification
• Ability to lead a team and communicate effectively
• Clear criminal record and child protection screening

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and ensure regulatory compliance
• Lead, mentor and manage a team of childcare practitioners and support staff
• Implement and monitor early childhood curriculum
• Ensure safety, health and well-being of children
• Engage with parents and provide updates
• Handle centre administration: admissions, scheduling, record-keeping
• Conduct staff meetings, training, and performance evaluations
• Maintain a clean, organized, stimulating learning environment
• Manage inventory of supplies and equipment
