This role requires a Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education, at least 5 years in childcare with 2 in supervision, and strong leadership, organization, and communication

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• 5+ years in childcare with at least 2 in supervision/management
• Proven leadership and team-management ability
• Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and curricula
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of health, safety, licensing regulations
• Organizational and time-management strengths
• Passion for child welfare and early education

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the childcare center for smooth functioning
• Mentor and support educators; conduct performance reviews and professional development
• Oversee curriculum implementation to meet developmental standards
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations
• Maintain positive relationships with parents and provide updates
• Manage enrollment, staff schedules and facility resources
• Conduct regular facility inspections for safety and hygiene
