Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated Childcare Center Manager & Curriculum Developer in Pretoria to lead daily operations, shape curriculum, and drive high-quality early childhood education. This senior role blends administrative oversight with program development and staff leadership.

You will ensure compliance with regulations, manage finances, and engage with parents to showcase services while fostering a positive team culture and an outstanding learning environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field.
• 7+ years in childcare with 3+ years in management or supervision.
• Proven experience in curriculum development and implementation for early years.
• In-depth knowledge of childcare regulations and licensing standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong financial management and budgeting skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage staff and foster a positive team culture.
• Proficiency in using childcare management software and standard office applications.
• First Aid and CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the childcare center, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive early childhood curriculum meeting educational standards.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate childcare staff.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.
• Manage the center's budget and financial operations.
• Organize and lead parent engagement activities and community outreach.
• Conduct regular assessments of the learning environment and program effectiveness.
• Promote the center's services and manage admissions.
