Job summary

SET Recruitment Consultants is seeking a Chief Technical Officer (CTO) to lead the engineering, manufacturing, R&D, product development and technology functions in Johannesburg, Gauteng. This executive role requires steering strategy across multiple technical domains and driving long-term growth for a capital-intensive organisation.

The successful candidate will have a Mechanical Engineering degree, 12–15+ years in engineering/manufacturing, and 5–8+ years of senior leadership with P&L

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
• 12–15+ years relevant engineering or manufacturing experience.
• 5–8+ years in senior leadership with P&L accountability.
• MBA or postgraduate business qualification is advantageous.
