GoTyme ZA (South Africa) is seeking a Head of Data Analytics to lead the data science function across Marketing, Fraud, AML, CX, Distribution and Partnerships. The role turns priorities into an analytics roadmap, builds a high-performing team, and ensures insights drive decisions and measurable business impact.

You will advance from reactive requests to proactive analytics, experimentation and responsible use of advanced analytics and AI, partnering with governance, engineering and reporting

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in data science, analytics or related field with leadership responsibility.
• Proven track record leading senior analytics talent and delivering high-quality work through teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, data science, CS, engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Define analytics strategy and roadmap aligned to company priorities and measurable outcomes.
• Lead data scientists and senior data scientists; manage performance and development.
• Build a high-performing team culture with collaboration and high standards.
• Direct proactive analysis across customer, fraud, AML, CX, distribution and partnerships.
• Ensure analytics output is trusted, timely, governed and adopted in decisions.
