Job summary

Network Finance is seeking a seasoned technology leader to shape and steer the group’s data and AI strategy from Randburg, South Africa. You will guide executive stakeholders, drive digital transformation, and oversee cloud, analytics, and BI initiatives.

You will lead diverse teams, manage key partners and vendors, and ensure security, governance and continuity across the technology estate. A strong track record in strategic technology leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, engineering or related field.
• Honours degree, MBA or master’s degree advantageous.
• Microsoft Azure Data or AI certifications advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the group technology, data and AI strategy.
• Lead technology teams and drive a high‑performance culture.
• Identify and implement AI agents, automation and digital innovation opportunities.
• Oversee data analytics, reporting and BI platforms.
• Ensure technology infrastructure security and business continuity requirements.
• Manage strategic technology partners, vendors and contracts.
• Drive system standardisation, integration and process optimisation.
• Present technology roadmaps, business cases and project updates to executive leadership.
• Ensure technology investments deliver measurable operational and commercial value.
