Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in the petrochemical or related chemical industry.
• Strong understanding of petrochemical processes including reaction engineering, separation techniques, and fluid dynamics.
• Experience with process simulation software (Aspen HYSYS) and data analysis is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM) principles and environmental regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Commitment to upholding high standards of safety and environmental responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze plant operations to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot process issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Participate in the design, modification, and commissioning of new equipment and process changes.
• Develop and refine SOPs to enhance safety and operational effectiveness.
• Conduct PHAs and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and safety teams to resolve technical challenges.
• Prepare technical reports, performance analyses, and recommendations for process improvements.
• Assist in developing annual operating budgets and CAPEX proposals.
• Stay updated with technological advancements in the petrochemical field.
