You'll work under the guidance of the executive chef, maintain mise en place, assist in menu development, manage your station, and contribute to efficient kitchen operations in a structured environment.

Qualifications

• Culinary qualification or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in a professional kitchen environment preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items in your designated section with consistency and attention to detail.
• Assist in development of new dishes and menus.
• Ensure mise en place is completed before service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of your station.
• Follow kitchen procedures, food safety regulations, and hygiene standards.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff.
• Support senior chefs with training and supervision of kitchen staff as needed.
• Participate in stock control, deliveries, and inventory checks.
• Minimise waste and contribute to efficient kitchen operations.
