Chef Assistant position available in Stellenbosch.

We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Cook to assist our Head Chef in a new restaurant venture located in the beautiful Winelands.

The menu offering will be simple and seasonal, so we’re not looking for a highly specialised or fancy sous chef – just someone dependable, efficient, and passionate about good food.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Chef in daily food prep and service
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
• Follow kitchen safety and hygiene standards
• Support stock control and assist with deliveries
• Be flexible and willing to step up during busy periods or cover additional shifts if needed

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen (minimum 1–2 years preferred)
