Job summary

The Talent Room is seeking an experienced Chef to join the team in George, South Africa. You will prepare and cook meals to high standards, ensure quality, hygiene and presentation, and support menu planning in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Applicants should have a culinary background, strong knowledge of kitchen procedures and the ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Culinary qualification preferred.
• Experience as a Chef in a restaurant, hotel, lodge or similar.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation and kitchen procedures.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, organised and professional.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
