Job summary

The Hiring House is seeking an experienced Change Management professional to lead and coordinate enterprise-wide transformation initiatives in Johannesburg. You will design change strategies, assess impacts on people and processes, and drive adoption through targeted communication and training programs.

Key responsibilities include stakeholder engagement, readiness assessments, and coaching leaders to manage resistance while ensuring sustainable benefits across the organisation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of organisational change management experience.
• Experience supporting enterprise-level transformation programmes.
• PROSCI Change Management certification preferred or equivalent.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive change management strategies and plans aligned to enterprise transformation objectives.
• Conduct change impact assessments to identify how transformation initiatives will affect people, processes, systems and business units.
• Develop and implement effective stakeholder engagement strategies.
• Develop clear and targeted communication strategies and plans for different stakeholder groups.
• Assess and monitor business readiness throughout the transformation lifecycle.
• Develop and coordinate training and enablement programmes to support new processes, systems and ways of working.
• Drive user and employee adoption of transformation initiatives.
• Identify and manage resistance to change, developing appropriate interventions where required.
• Support transition activities and ensure sustainable adoption following implementation.
• Work closely with project managers, programme teams, business leaders, HR and other key stakeholders.
• Develop change-related documentation, including impact assessments, readiness assessments, communication plans, training plans and adoption metrics.
• Track and report on change progress, risks, adoption and readiness to programme leadership.
• Provide coaching and support to leaders and managers to help them effectively lead change within their teams

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 8 years' organisational change management experience.
• Proven experience supporting enterprise-level transformation programmes.
• Strong experience across: Change impact assessment Stakeholder engagement Communication strategy Business readiness Training and enablement User adoption Transition management Change resistance management
• Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent facilitation, influencing and relationship-management capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple change activities within a complex transformation environment.

Qualifications & Certifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Change Management, Organisational Development, Human Resources, Business Management, Project Management or a related discipline.
• PROSCI Change Management certification is preferred.
• Other recognised Change Management certification will be considered.
